Full CMYK colour printing with no colour limits or setup fees. Photo-quality detail on every item, gradients, shadows, and fine lines all come out perfectly.
DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, and more. Light or dark fabrics, doesn’t matter. The white ink layer ensures vibrant colours on any background.
Reproduce photos, complex artwork, and detailed illustrations with pin-sharp clarity. DTF captures fine detail that other methods simply can’t match.
DTF prints are smooth and flexible with a slight stretch. They feel much softer and more breathable than vinyl transfers or thick screen prints.
DTF stands for Direct-to-Film. Your design is printed in full colour onto a special PET film using CMYK and white inks.
A powder adhesive is applied to the wet ink, and the film is cured in a heat tunnel. Finally, the transfer is heat-pressed onto your garment, bonding permanently to the fabric. The result is a vibrant, detailed print with a smooth, flexible feel.
Before DTF, printing on dark fabrics was difficult and expensive. Screen printing required separate screens for each colour, and DTG printers needed heavy pre-treatment.
DTF changed all of that, full-colour, photo-quality prints on any fabric colour without the fuss. No setup fees, no colour limits, and no minimum orders.
Compared to screen printing, DTF is more cost-effective for small runs, no screen setup costs. Compared to sublimation, DTF works on any fabric, not just polyester.
And compared to vinyl, DTF produces a softer, more breathable finish. For most small-to-medium orders with detailed, colourful designs, DTF is the best all-round option.
Send us any image, logo, or design. High-resolution files work best, but we can help with that too.
Your design is printed in full colour onto a special transfer film with a powder adhesive layer.
The film is pressed onto your garment with heat, bonding the design permanently to the fabric.
DTF prints are very durable and can withstand 50+ washes without cracking or fading when cared for properly. We recommend washing inside out in cold water and avoiding high-heat tumble drying.
Yes! DTF uses a white ink layer beneath the colour inks, which means your designs can include white and light colours even on dark garments. This is one of the biggest advantages of DTF over other methods.
DTF prints have a smooth, slightly raised feel with a bit of stretch. They’re much softer and more flexible than vinyl transfers. Most people describe the feel as similar to a good screen print.
No minimum at all. DTF is one of the best methods for single items or small runs because there are no setup costs. Order one shirt or one hundred, the per-item cost stays competitive.
